Kathy is a culture & employment brand evangelist who builds HR solutions and teams aligning business strategy with people strategy and company values.
A seasoned business and HR leader, her diverse HR background spans multiple sectors including digital advertising, medical communications, technology, financial services, healthcare, food service and education. In addition, Kathy has M&A experience on the sell side having participated in due diligence through and post close leading all HR transition and integration.
Kathy holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of British Columbia and an MBA from Southern Methodist University in addition to SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications.
Her expertise spans leading and scaling HR for small to mid-cap companies but also leading Global Talent Management for large to enterprise organizations. Within the global talent management space, Kathy has facilitated programs to train and develop people managers at all levels coupling that training with a sister program to prepare employees to engage as active partners with their managers to drive business results.
Kathy and her husband are empty-nesters and in their spare time enjoy all things food, drink and music related. On a weekend, you will often find them at a local brewery, winery, distillery or food truck in their local area listening to live music. Other passions include cooking, travel, reading and exercise.
