Manny Viera, PHR, SHRM-CP

Executive Advisor

Mr. Viera brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in Human Resources across multiple industries. Most recently, he was Vice President of Human Resources for CoAdvantage Corporation. CoAdvantage is a one of the nation’s leading Professional Employer Organization, providing HR outsourcing services including administration of payroll, benefits, workers’ compensation and core HR functions to its 4,500 clients, representing 100,000+ worksite employees. Previously, he served as the Head of Human Resources for Tampa Maid Foods a Watkins Associated Industries company. WAI companies are comprised of trucking, food processing, building materials, insurance, agriculture, real estate development and environmental engineering.

In his prior role he served as the FL Market HR Leader for SHC and tasked with leading an HR team of eight as well as overseeing strategic HR initiatives for the market. In his preceding role, he was the Director of HR for Chromalloy an aerospace company where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR for two of its manufacturing plants in Tampa, FL.

Prior to joining Chromalloy, Mr. Viera worked for Advantec-HR as a Senior Human Capital Consultant. As a senior consultant he was responsible for strategic HR matters for large clients in numerous industries such as manufacturing, retail, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, business services, aviation, non-profit, automotive, hospitality, restaurants and high-tech industries while managing a complex book of business. Prior to Advantec-HR, Mr. Viera worked for Delhaze America – Florida division as Divisional Human Resource Manager. In this role, he directed operational, managerial and industry human resource strategies and programs for the company’s Pharmacy Division.

Prior, Mr. Viera was Regional Human Resource Manager for AutoZone a Fortune 300 and the nation’s largest automotive retailer. His responsibilities included overall HR administration for more than 70 locations and 1,300 employees. Most of his time was spent ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations in the Southeastern United States. Earlier in his career, Mr. Viera worked for Intermedia Communications (MCI/ WorldCom) as a Senior HR Generalist / HR Manager. He started his career in the healthcare industry where he spent over 5 years and held multiple positions in various HR functional roles.

Mr. Viera earned his Mini–MBA from Rollins College – Crummer Graduate School of Business. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from the University of South Florida. In addition, he holds a graduate certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of South Florida and is nationally certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) as well as SHRM-CP certified. He is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), and was appointed to two terms by the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners to serve as a board member on the human relations committee overseeing EEO complaints and violations for Hillsborough County (Tampa, FL).
