Brian Vogel

Executive Advisor

Brian Vogel is a human resources executive whose focus is supporting the spectrum of Organizational Development needs from establishing HR strategy, structures and processes to partnering with leadership on change management initiatives.

As a global human resources executive and talent leader, I am passionate about building environments of collaboration, continuous improvement, and sustainable success. As a trusted partner with executive leadership teams, my background as an HR strategist, an NCAA Athlete, and NCAA Coach has given me unique insight into understanding the importance of teamwork and discipline in building powerful HR infrastructures that attract, develop, retain and engage talent in extremely competitive markets to drive long-term growth and profitability.

My 20+ years of HR experience have included stints in various industries and within the full spectrum of company sizes (start-up to large Fortune 500). I have led HR functions in companies as well as HR Business Partner organizations. The nationally recognized companies I have worked with include Verizon, USAA, and Indeed. Prior to Verizon I was at GTE and served as a staffing lead in the merger of GTE and Bell Atlantic to form Verizon. My time at Indeed was during a period of rapid growth and scaling where over 3.5 years the employee population worldwide quadrupled from 2,500 to 10,000 employees.

I received my BBA with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a concentration in Human Resources.

I am a family man with a wife of 20+ years and two teenage daughters. I believe in “family first always” and prioritize play which often includes good eats, red wine, and vitamin sea. I also believe anything worthwhile comes with struggle or really hard work and oftentimes failure along the way. My to-date life lesson is realizing the imprint you make on others and the community matters more than what is often defined as accomplishments.
